Say hello to Zoey, our petite wide leg trousers, designed especially for short legs. And she’s a true smart-casual design with a relaxed leg shape, subtle tailoring and unbelievably comfy waistband. Made from a premium, crease-resistant fabric in two stylish shades, we spent weeks perfecting a fit that’s flattering for petites. All that’s left for you to do is pop them on and wonder what you did without them.

Zoey fits true to size with flexibility on the waist due to her elasticated band. Choose your closest size and if in doubt, size down. Length from waist to hem is approximately 93cm. Inside leg seam is approximately 66cm (26 inches).

This is a soft, medium-weight, crease-resistant twill, 50% lyocell, 47% cotton, 3% elastane.

Wash at 30°C with similar colours. Hang dry and iron on the reverse on the coolest setting. Don't tumble dry or dry clean.

We use a Royal Mail tracked service for all orders.

Standard UK shipping is free, or you can upgrade to Next Day for £4.

International shipping is £25 to the Americas, Asia and Australasia. We've temporarily stopped shipping to Europe but hope to bring this back soon.

Perfect length so I can wear them with trainers or heels, and dress them up or down accordingly.

Masterpiece

Bravo Laura, what a masterpiece of design for us petites. Everything works for me - the length, the pleats, the half-elasticated waistband.... even the zip;). Thank you for introducing the camel colour, a great basic but classic trouser piece.

Fabulous, versatile Zoey trousers

This is my first Short List purchase and I am delighted.
Fit-I’m just over 5ft1 and the length is perfect with trainers and wedges. Before ordering I read Laura’s advice and customer reviews. I chose the size to best fit my waist, making the trousers slightly loose, but not bulky around my hips. I’ve always been a bit reluctant to buy elasticated waists as I feel they can add bulk at the back - not an issue with Zoey. I love the shape, the way they hang and the feeling of the material (almost like thick silk). It feels like there’s a bit of magic is the design.
Colour-camel is an unusual choice for me but following a clothes audit I identified a need for a lighter pair of trousers. Laura’s guide to colour pairings made me realise how many options I could have with things already in my wardrobe. The colour works really well with white, black, denim, and, much to my delight, looks lovely with a favourite dark navy t-shirt with gold detail.
Cost per wear is my clothing mantra. I except Zoey will be my go-to trousers for this summer and beyond and I predict my target will be achieved. Thank you Laura.

I now live in these trousers.

Extremely flattering, gorgeous colour and SO comfortable. They can be dressed up but also perfect for casual, the material is so soft, thick enough (but also keeps you cool) and they can be worn almost all year round.

Fantastic trousers!

I bought the Forest green Zoe’s with a pistachio Luna, my first Shortlist purchases and am so pleased with both pieces.
The trousers, fall to the right length for my five foot height and are so comfortable to wear, I don’t wear heels, but these worked perfectly with my work flats and the colour matches with my usual work tops.
Will be definitely be buying more pieces in the future.
