These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made through The Shortlist website. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below, so please read them carefully before making a purchase.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

  • Your content (excluding credit card information) may be transferred unencrypted over various networks and may involve transmissions over multiple networks. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.
  • You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of The Shortlist website or its content without our express written permission.

PRODUCTS

  • We take care to ensure all product descriptions, measurements and images are accurate. However, colours may vary slightly due to screen displays.
  • We reserve the right to limit the sale of our products to any person or geographic region. This right may be exercised on a case-by-case basis.
  • We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products that we offer.
  • All descriptions of products and product pricing are subject to change at any time without notice.

PRICING AND PAYMENT

  • We accept all major credit cards, as well as payment via Klarna.
  • All prices are shown in GBP unless otherwise stated, and include VAT where applicable. Duties and taxes for non-UK customers will be calculated and payable at checkout.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice, and we reserve the right to correct pricing errors.
  • We reserve the right to refuse any order placed with us.
  • You agree to provide current, complete and accurate information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and payment details, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

  • You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of any shipping information provided; we will not be held liable for non-delivery due to an incorrect delivery address.
  • Orders are usually shipped on the same working day if ordered before 4pm UK time, but this can sometimes be longer during busy periods – particularly at launches. UK standard shipping is free, UK Next Day is £4, and international shipping is a flat fee of £25. Customs duties for overseas customers are detailed and payable at checkout.
  • If you nominate a safe place or neighbour for your delivery, you authorise the courier to deliver your parcel without requiring a signature or direct acceptance. Delivery to your chosen safe place or neighbour will be treated as completed delivery. By selecting this option, you accept full responsibility for the parcel once it has been delivered in accordance with your instructions. We cannot accept liability for any loss, theft, or damage that occurs after delivery has taken place.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

  • Items can be returned within 14 days of delivery provided they are unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with tags attached.
  • You must notify us of your intention to return within 14 days of receiving the item, and the item must then be returned within a further 14 days.
  • Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer. We cannot accept responsibility for returns that are lost in transit.
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • If we suspect fraudulent activity within your account, we reserve the right to withhold refunds, cancel orders, or block your account and any associated accounts.
  • Fraudulent activity may include (but is not limited to): claims relating to orders not being received, items missing, unusually high return rates, unusual patterns of returns activity, or returning items that appear worn or used.

LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Shortlist shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or products purchased through it.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Shortlist is a registered trade mark in the United Kingdom and is used under licence. All rights reserved. All website content, imagery, and designs are the intellectual property of The Shortlist and may not be reproduced or used without prior permission.

GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

YOUR CONSUMER RIGHTS

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
